Hey All!! Well we all know that
LAVAROOM RECORDING is by far the best in Cleveland. And now Lavaroom is
offering live DVD video concert recordings for your band. What ya get is
a 2 camera video shoot along side of a mulititrack recording on the world
famous SSL 4000G+ console manned by the soon to be world renown producer
Mike Brown. And the cool thing is that you get to invite up to 50 of your
friends, fans, and groupies to be part of the party at the Lavaroom.

It's that time of year again -- let's
do everything we can to get Billy nominated and then let's
regain his title as Best Guitarist!

MSEX -- Metal Sludge Extravaganza
Ten -- three nights of metal, booze, metal, women, metal,
free stuff, oh and did we mention metal? There is no
other way to celebrate the new year! Dec. 30th
featuring Enuff Znuff, Dec. 31st featuring the
Billy Morris Band, Jan. 1st featuring Donnie Vie.
Other bands will include American Dog, Ground
Zero, New Years Eve Sludge Jam, Bombshell Crush, The
Cherry Pops, Mad Margritt, Amps 2 Eleven, Aftershok,
Breaker, and many more. If you can't be there
(like you're trapped under a heavy object or kidnapped by
aliens), you can listen live on the internet care of
the Classic Metal Show.
Even with the exit from Warrant, Billy
has still been as busy as ever! The last month Billy has
been focusing on work at the Lava Room Recording studio.
Billy has been recording other bands and also working
on some new BMB material.
The voting for the Cleveland Free Times
has closed and the award winners will be announced this
week. Thanks for all the effort! Hopefully, Billy will
win and we can all party down at the Hi-Fi. Billy left
to play at the Grand Opening of Guitar Center in Toledo,
OH., and will be gone for a week or so racing his motorcycle.
Unfortunately, he left without giving info on upcoming
shows, so we’ll all just have to wait until Billy
gets back to find out what’s coming this Spring.
The Warrant2K.Net
contest featuring Billy has been extended past the original
2 weeks, so check their website if you still want to try
to get in an entry.
Warrant has a great new line-up and new material on their
website, so check

featuring photos taken by Lee Jackson of Prime
Time Digital Media. Lee has captured some excellent
photos of Billy and the Billy Morris Band in the last
couple months, and even some of Warrant in Dec 2003. More
of Lee’s photos will be posted soon! Larger photos
for downloading from this gallery can be accessed by clicking
on the "original" link at the top of each photo
page.
Unfortunately, Lee was recently injured in an accident
on his way home from another bands show, and we are hoping
for a speedy and full recovery, so your thoughts and prayers
can help! Hopefully, Lee will be well enough to be able
to make the trip to Cleveland for the Radio
Daze show at the Cleveland Agora Saturday January
31st.

The Studio!
Chris Akin and the Warlock of The Metal Show recently
recorded an interview with Damageplan
(ex-members of Pantera) in the Live Room at Lava
Room Recording. The interview went great! It has already
aired on 92.3 Extreme Radio but you can listen to it on
the Metal Show
Website.
Damageplan posed
for some pictures and signed a Derek Hess Print for Billy
and the studio before departing.
More Interviews like this are planned with National and
local acts in the future.

Cleveland Free Times Awards
Please visit the Cleveland Free Times website and cast
your vote for Billy Morris, The Billy Morris Band and
Jani Lane, in their year end Music Awards. Billy won Best
Guitar Player last year and needs your help this year

Cox Cable Buzzard Blast
The
Billy Morris Band played the Cox Cable Buzzard Blast concert
series at the HI-FI
on Saturday, Sept 27th. I was there and I’ll have
you know that they rocked the house! Unfortunately, the
Cox Cable video cameras were being packed up as Billy
took the stage, I’m not sure why, but oh well, their
loss!
The new drummer sounded great and is
an excellent fit to the rest of the band. The band played
material from The Billy Morris Band’s forth coming
CD release, which is a smoldering offering of Modern Rock
(of course, with its roots in the traditional Rock of
Billy’s past!) The songs highlight Billy’s
incredible guitar abilities - without being the kind of
self indulgent crap a lot of guitar players try to do
to show off their shit – it’s The Billy Morris
"Band” - and the crowd at the HI-FI definitely
enjoyed! Some pictures can be found on the Photos
Page and more will be posted soon.
Lava Room Recording
Earlier
the same Day, Billy was at the Grand Opening of his new
State-of-The-Art Recording studio, Lava
Room Recording. A lot of Billy's spare time and effort
has gone into making the studio the best it can be. The
Lava Room Recording studio was designed with the creative
artist in mind. The studio atmosphere is comfortable,
and contributes to a relaxed and more productive recording
experience! Lava Room Recording is like no other studio
in the area! You really should stop by for a tour and
see for yourself.
Billy is looking for talent!
Billy is going to have more time in town
and with the opening of Lava Room Recording will be looking
for artists to produce. If you're interested or would

Coming Show Dates
Next up the Billy Morris Band will be
opening a couple shows for Bret
Michaels on his "Songs of Life" tour. Two
dates are currently confirmed, 10/11 at the Machine Shop
in Flint, MI, and 10/14 at the Hard Rock in Pittsburg,
PA.
The Billy Morris Band will be performing
with Enuff Z'nuff
at the HI-FI Club on October 17th and are planning on
playing there with Killingbird
on November 12th.
Billy will be back out on the road with
WARRANT from October
22nd through November 1st, more info on the dates will
be added to the Show Info page
shortly.
New Billy Morris Band CD release!
The
new CD from The Billy Morris Band is due for release this
Fall. Only the CD artwork and production run details are
pending. The CD will be available here at BillyMorris.Net
and fresh audio clips will be added to the Audio
Page soon.
Billy is expecting to be on the tour
in Europe with Jani Lane’s solo band some time in
December. Details will be added when they are available.
